Dr. Don Juzwishin is the panelist on “’Give Me My Data!’ A Not So Patient Perspective.” April 24, Analytics, Big Data, and The Cloud
Dr. Juzwishin is Director of Health Technology Assessment and Innovation at Alberta Health Services. He holds adjunct associate professor appointments at the University of Alberta in the School of Public Health, University of Calgary in Community Health Sciences and University of Victoria in Health Information Science. He is a member of the Alberta Advisory Committee on Health Technologies whose responsibility is to assist the government in the provincial review of health technologies and services. He is a Board of Director and serves as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee of the Canadian Society for International Health and is a member of the Canadian College of Health Service Executives Ethics Committee. He is a member of the Canadian Agency for Drugs and Technology in Health HTA Exchange. He has been principal of his own consulting firm – Juzwishin Consulting Inc (JCI) in St. Albert, Alberta and former CEO of the Health Council of Canada. Dr. Juzwishin has experience in the private sector, government, and public not for profit sector.
